The special guest this time around is that delightful writer and comedian Iszi Lawrence. She has chosen a rare (for this podcast) New Who episode: the headline grabbing Dalek. And with Russell T Davies love rightly in the air it's worth reminding ourselves of the show's heady first year back. Will it retain its power after all these years and crucially, will Toby and Iszi agree on the same things when it comes to their appreciation of this undoubted classic...

I think Christopher Eccleston was a great Doctor as well and “Dalek” is a great episode I enjoyed it and quite sad at times.
