He's not the Messiah, Steven Moffat, and sometimes he is a very naughty boy. But he's definitely a writer whose work deserves a closer look - an explosive (ahem) talent whose scripts can be mined (ahem, ahem) for subtext and jokes (boom boom!). But what did Boom have to say about faith? And should it be taken at face value? Or is there actually more in common with religiosity and Moffat's scripts than might first appear? Faith, hope and landmines in the latest instalment of these bite size musings inspired by the latest episode of Doctor Who. Toby’s “Doctor Who” podcasts always give good value, & have a reputation for having an even-handed approach to handling both the rough & the smooth that the programme & its fans have given to the world across its 60-plus year history, but his thoughtful & incisive audio essays produced in response to the latest series have provided a calm, rational, response to the fear & madness that any time of great change can bring along with it. As companion pieces, these episodes are highly recommended.
